DLA Piper Competition partner Daniel Colgan has been listed in the Global Competition Review (GCR) 40 under 40 survey for the Class of 2016.
Launched in 1997, GCR is an essential daily resource for over 10,000 competition law professionals worldwide and is recognised as the world's leading competition law and policy journal and news service. Its special survey, 40 under 40, is published every four years and lists the 40 top competition law practitioners under the age of 40 across the world.
Steve Sly, Global Co-Chair of the Litigation & Regulatory group at DLA Piper, said: “Since joining us from Freshfields less than a year ago, Daniel has made a strong impression with our clients and colleagues. His international, English/German background, language skills and sector experience enable him to take advantage of the firm’s geographic reach and sector focus, playing his part in developing one of our strategic priority global practices.”
Daniel's reaction was as follows: "Making it onto the GCR 40 under 40 list reflects my passion for competition law. I am honoured and grateful to have received the recognition from my clients and peers, enabling me to be listed alongside talented members of the competition law community, in such a prestigious industry survey."
